Motel wins N Brown creative account
Agency will be responsible for NBrown’s JD Williams, Simply Be and Jacamo brands.

Online retailer N Brown has picked Motel to take on its creative account following a competitive pitch.
Motel will be responsible for the JD Williams, Simply Be and Jacamo brands and work with the in-house teams to create “memorable and impactful campaigns”.
The review was handled by AAR and Motel pitched against Brave Spark, Above & Beyond and incumbent House 337.
N Brown said Motel “demonstrated a clear passion for N Brown’s strategic brands” and that the indie would help the business on its next phase of growth.
The appointment is part of N Brown’s developing marketing activity, which includes better use of first-party data and investment in its loyalty programmes.
N Brown previously worked with creative agency Odd, which then merged with Engine to become House 337. House 337 continued to work with N Brown and has produced a series of idents for JD Williams' sponsorship of ITV’s My Mum,Your Dad. The agency has also made campaigns like “Admit it, this age thing suits you” for JD Williams and “Serious about shape” for Simply Be.
